Red is Best at Night
I painted Red is Best a number of years ago with a white background and have never been happy with it. Inspired by my recent painting “Yellow Delight” I thought I’d try changing the background to dark tones. I’m thrilled with the result.
Painted using walnut-based oils on gallery sized canvas (1.5 inches thick). I have painted the sides of the canvas to seamlessly continue the image so that no framing is necessary.
