I picture this tulip as a fantastically dressed victorian woman who has added a beauty mark to her cheek. On the way to the ball? Maybe just the haberdashery.
Painted using walnut-based oils on gallery sized canvas (1.5 inches thick). I have painted the sides of the canvas to seamlessly continue the image so that no framing is necessary.
